This inventive kit allows you to use your portable flash with studio strobe styled filters for composing soft, diffused and colored lighting.
Included with the kit are 4 color filters. Compared to regular plastic color filters placed on the flash head, these filters are larger in size. They are to be placed at a distance from the flash head too. That's why these filters create softer and more diffused lighting.
The honeycomb grid (25-30 degrees) reduces light dispersion and thus creates a more directional, shielded light onto your subject. It is deal for hair lighting, portrait lighting and many other situations that requires a more focused, directed light.
Also included is a "barn door" frame. With 4 adjustable flaps you also can focus the light to the center or let it spread out evenly.
As you can see in the picture above, the flash holder fits with the soft boxes we sell in another listing too. The bottom of the holder is an adjustable screw mount that can be secured directly onto a standard light stand mount.
Compared to a studio strobe and tripod setup, this light stand and portable flash setup is much lighter in weight and also smaller in size. You can easily use the setup outdoors too!
