This holder allows practically all portable flashes on the market to be used with the different soft boxes we sell in another listings: Light Soft Box for Studio Strobes 40cm x 40cm, Light Soft Box for Studio Strobes 60cm x 40cm, Light Soft Box for Studio Strobes 70cm x 50cm.

You can use it outdoors too.  Connect the holder with a portable flash stand to produce outdoor artificial lighting from your portable flash.

Installation is simple (see demonstration picture above).  You only need to tighten the four adjustable screw of the soft box adapter to securely mount with the holder.

With an adjustable hot shoe mount, the holder can connect directly to the flash or the Cactus wireless flash receiver.  The bottom of the adapter is a standard 1/4” female screw mount for usage with spigots or quick release plates.

The diameter of the circular holder is 91mm.  That allows practically all DSLR portable flash models to be mounted (eg. Canon 430EX, 580EX II, Nikon SB600, SB800 etc).  Users with a flash of over 91mm in width (Vivitar 285HV or Cactus KF36) can still use this item without inserting the flash head into the circular holder.  To prevent light loss, simply use a black piece of cloth to cover the area between the holder and flash head.

The height of the holder is adjustable too.  A total of 58mm can be added to the total height.
