Cactus V4 banding issue resolved
|
We are pleased to announce that banding issues reported by customers using the
Cactus V4 Wireless Flash Trigger on Panasonic Lumix DMC-G1, Canon EOS 5D, and Olympus E-30 have now been resolved. All Cactus V4 wireless flash triggers sent by Gadget Infinity beginning 21 June 2010 should be free from these banding issues.

update on delivery services to Europe
We are happy to inform our customers in Europe that Hong Kong post have
now cleared the backlog of airmail items caused by the previous airport
closures. Airmail delivery has now returned to normal.
In a separate issue however airmail delivery service to the Eastern
European countries listed in the link below, have been affected by
custom clearance issues in the Russian Federation. This issue is listed
on Hong Kong post's website:

During the past month, some of our airmail packages have cleared
through the Russian customs without delay. Other packages however have
been held for up to 1 month in the Russia customs.
For customers who are located in one of Eastern European countries
listed above, please note that until further announcement, delivery
times can be delayed for up to 1 month.
FedEx shipping has not been affected by this custom clearance issue.

update on delivery services to Europe
Customers in Europe, please note that the previous airport closures
caused by the volcanic eruption in Iceland have caused a backlog of
international air mail items that are currently held with Hong Kong
post.
With the reopening of airports across Europe, Hong Kong post is
efficiently clearing the backlog of packages. However due to its large
volume, Hong Kong post may require up to 2 weeks to fully clear the
backlog of items and return to normal delivery timeframe.
Therefore customers who are looking to purchase to Europe using airmail
shipping, please note that delivery is likely encounter delay during
this period. Hong Kong post delivery is scheduled to return to normal
in 2 weeks.
We are also happy to inform you that FedEX delivery to Europe has fully
returned to normal. Our Monday's FedEX shipment to Europe will
therefore arrive within 2-3 working days, as normal.

Gadget infinity brings you another new product! This time we present the new hot shoe adapter FS-1200 that you’ve been longing for at a premium price of US$15.95.
This flash hot shoe adapter that Konica Minolta made to adapt flashes with Minolta-type hot shoe to standard ISO hot shoe (Minolta part number FS-1200) had gone out of the market, after Minolta withdrew from the photo industry. Sony does not offer similar solution to its Alpha users too. We hope this comes as good news for Sony Alpha and Minolta flash owners.
This adapter connects Sony and Minolta flashes (with Minolta-type hot shoe) to standard ISO hot shoe cameras. With this adapter, you can now connect your Sony/Minolta flash to our Cactus V2s / V2 receiver via the hot shoe too.

New product on show - Fisheye Lens with Macro

The new “Fisheye Lens with Macro” helps you take extremely wide, hemispherical images with a remarkable degree of barrel distortion.
The front and rear side is designed to have a large difference in diameter in order to prevent vignetting. For example the 58mm version has a front side diameter of 82mm. This is also a recommended item of ours when it comes to optical quality. As you can see in the picture above, this lens certainly does not diminish the picture quality or create any “smear” effect to the photo. The photo above was taken at a focal length of 28mm at a 35mm film camera format. The fish eye effect can be increased if attached with a super wide angle lens.
At its competitive price and great optical quality, this adapter lens is an effective alternative to ultra wide les or other fisheye lens which are more expensive.

Gadget infinity brings you the new “Super Quality Wide Angle Lens with Macro B” and “Low Vignetting Wide Angle Lens with Macro C”.
While the B version has a lens composition is 2-2 elements, producing very low or rare vignetting effects. The C version effectively eliminates all vignetting effects to a negligible level. This is achieved with an innovative new design which offers a greater difference in the diameter of the front and the back of the lens.
These lens attachments are great tools in many situations. For example it could be useful during indoor photography sessions conducted in a confined space. It is useful for outdoor photography too. After attaching, your photograph could capture of a wider view of the landscape.
As seen in the picture above, after mounting the wide angle lens, the area covered in the picture is dramatically increased. Both of these lenses are produced with great optical quality too. The color composition or quality of the picture is undiminished after the attachment. A lens pouch is provided too for easy storage and transport!
